Kusum Manohar Lele is based on a true story that happened in Pune in1986. It takes a look at the dilemma of Sujata who has faced hardships in her first marriage. She decides to wed a man, Manohar Lele, who is trying to get his own divorce. She ends up having a child with him. What happens next to Sujata? Will she get what she wants? Or is the second time going to be the same as her first marriage? What is Manohar's story? 

The play originally was directed by Vinay Apte with a cast including Dr. Girish Oak, Sanjay Mone and Sukanya Kulkarni.
